Scope & Content Undated postcard with the title "Tobacco Plantation in the Connecticut Valley". On back is the explanation "This view shows how the tobacco is gathered up in baskets after the leaves have been picked. The canvas on the right has not been lifted because it is not time to pick that particular lot. The tobacco is then stored in sheds for curing." This is shade tobacco.
