Occupant: Louis Sperry [sic; Lewis Sperry]. Date of Photo: May 30, 1922. Built by Aaron Bissell in 1813. He was a town nabob, rival and enemy of John Watson (residence across the street). Thought to be wealthy but failed in business. House has 27 rooms." |
