Small (5" diameter) iron kettle or cauldron with handle circa late 1700s, used for melting lead for making musket bullets. Also included are 12 round bullets. A type-written description of the making of bullets is included, as well as information on sources used to glean lead for bullets during the Revolutionary War. |
