Description |
A cache of pre-forms found by Stanley Waldron and his young tobacco workers on Aug 21, 1967, washed from a small culvert in a field off south side of Pleasant Valley Rd. This collection consists of 24 pre-formed blades (knives, scrapers, spear points, Windsor hoe?) plus one decorated sandstone pipe bowl. The collection is mounted in a frame and is displayed in a case on the south side of the Museum Room on the second floor. An accompanying photograph shows Stanley Waldron and other farm workers with a cache of objects. The finders include: Allen Dodd, David Dodd, Eric Waldron, Frank Kupchunos, Joseph Surozenski, and Brian Waldron. |
