Main folder states "387 Main Street John Riordan House." Photocopy of smaller folder states "387 Stetson 1916." Photocopy of third folder states "no longer there number 387 & 402" and contains typed page from Jane Stiles "History of Changes in the Main Street of South Windsor, Connecticut 1800-1874" (pages 65-67) with description of Samuel Bancroft and others; ending with "this house was taken down -- between Howard and Hartnett." "Historic Resources Inventory" (plus copy) completed 2006 states it is good example of vernacular structure with Queen Anne style influences. Identical to house at 379 Main Street. |
