Orgnaizational or Biographical History
John Wadhams was born and raised in Bloomfield, CT, and graduated from Amherst College in 1959. He worked in real estate investment at Connecticut General Life Insurance Company, Phoenix Mutual Life Insurance Company, and Aetna Business Credit. He ran his own consulting and mortgage brokerage firm before becoming Director of Wood Memorial Library and Museum, a position in which he served from 2005-2014. He is also founder and president of the Connecticut Concert Opera company.
