Horace Henry Vibert built this house in 1901 which is described as Queen Anne constructed with free classic elements. The architecture provides for large windows and transoms over bedroom doors to provide airflow, with hope of preventing tuberculosis. Horace Vibert lived in the house until his death in 1957 at age 96. It remained in Vibert family with grandson Joseph W. Vibert and later great granddaughter Edith Vibert-Johnson, who (along with husband Stephen Johnson) bought the house in 2002. |
