Description |
Type paragraph detailing information on the house which was built in 1846 by William White and sold to Nathaniel Jones in 1872. "Jones brothers moved house to this new location around 1890 when they built new Nathaniel Jones house across from Union School." Greek revival structure altered by Mr. Willard's renovations in 1960's. In the early 1900's this was the Driscoll family home and tobacco farm. Also noted "on this site stood an old house of Ebenezer Williams whose wife was Patty, daughter of Nathaniel and Marthat (Tudor) Porter." |
