Two page photocopy of front and back of handwritten card with note in ink "Helen Pelton Card File." states Eli Terry, born in East Windsor now South Windsor, was apprenticed to Daniel Burnap where he learned clock and watch making as well as engraving on metal. He made his first clock while working for Burnap. Eli Terry originated the cheap Yankee Clock. |
