Description |
Photocopy of typed cards (from Helen Pelton Card File) stating the house was built before 1805 by Arnel Allen and used as a tavern. Other people were Joseph Phelps; J. Watson Vibert and his sons Charles, Walter, Horace; and Joseph Moseley Newberry who bought house for his son Samuel who was father of Leslie. Boundry on north was "Scue Road" and one acre east of property was a cannery. Handwritten note states Jeski family 1971; Hargrove family to Thomas Taylor. |
