National Bicentennial or Friendship Quilt made in 1976 by the ladies of South Windsor depicting 42 buildings and scenes in South Windsor sponsored by The Wapping Community Church Women and first displayed at their 1976 Spring Fair then given to Wood Library for permanent display. Information folder in archives has postcards depicting the quilt and a booklet describing each square and who made it. |
