Historic Resources Inventory describes this house as "unique brick Picturesque Italianate house" with hipped roof intersected by two-story gabled ell on northern half and two story bay at rear of southern elevation. House was built by Captain Chandler T. Ward about 1870 on land purchased from Eliphalet Chapin. Subsequent residents included Captain Roderick King, Captain Justus Elmer, and Elizabeth Pelton. |
