This as a two-story Georgian style home built by Noah Wells and his father Moses in 1790 on land purchased by Noah's wife Elizabeth. The facade is 5/5 bays wide around center entrance, and a semi-circular porch is on southern side. Noah Wells served in the Revolutionary War and later built a shop north of the house. In 1804, the house and shop passed to Jesse Charlton. Subsequent owners were Bancroft, Jeremiah McGrath, Richard Doran and currently Anthony and Virginia Macro. |
