Scope & Content |
Known as the Eli Terry House, this house is reported to have been built by Samuel Terry for his bride Hulda Burnham. The Historic Resources Inventory describes this as one-and-one-half story New England Colonial (sometimes called "Dutch Colonial") with a facade five bays wide arranged around a central entrance. There is disagreement as to whether Eli Terry was actually born in this house. File contains much information on Eli Terry's life and his clocks. |
